Ghana hosted international HIV/AIDS workshop
Accra, Aug 21, GNA - Ghana hosted an international workshop on HIV/AIDS to share the experiences of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). The workshop focused on the human rights abuses of PLWHA and proposed mechanisms to encourage good practices. It was attended by iInternational and local academics, government representatives, researchers and civil society activists.
The Ghana Aids Commission (GAC) in Partnership with the African Commission of Health and Human Rights Promoters - Ghana, (CAPSDH-Ghana) a non-governmental organization for the defence and promotion of human rights in Africa through education, research and advocacy, were the main organisers.
